I know brostep, skrillex is very nice for me, but I don’t know NOTHING about the others, jeje, I think Pop is not the mine.

Which ones sound most interesting?

I just know Skrillex, so is the only interesting style I know of the list.

A test

I remember when I was eleven years old and have to took the test for enter to a school. In that postulation I gone to the school for the test and I was surprised for the size of that, was the biggest school I have ever seen, with four buildings, even one with six stories, in fact I got lost because we have to enter alone to the school and I don’t know it. We are four thousand postulants, and the institution just has six hundreds spaces.

In that moment I gone to the San Antonio school, an institution very small from the center of Santiago, and the postulation was for the Instituto Nacional, a very big college. The change was important, for that reason I have nervous, but I made the whole test, have a language part, and one of mathematics, but I felt this part of the test was not hard, because have a lot of logic questions too, and that questions was the more difficult, in this type of questions you only have your brain, and all the contents from the school don’t has importance.

Apart of this test, I make the test for two schools more, the Jose Victorino Lastarria, and the Liceo de Aplicacion, but in this test I don’t gone nervous because the objective was the Instituto Nacional, because a read about it and I like it so much.

Wait the results was the most hard part, but fortunately I enter to the school, was difficult because a lot of guys want enter, for that I remember that test like the most important.

A special place to eat.

I really enjoy go out to eat and find new places, not just expensive places (is difficult for me to pay this type of places for eat), but also popular places.

But I have an election in my life that limit my eat places: I’m vegetarian, for that reason I don’t go to classical places like “fuente alemana” or any place with meat in the menu.  In the past I enjoy so many places with pastas, like “the piccola italia”, and enjoy so much the “completos” in a “picada” near of my school. But now (I don’t eat meet almost four years ago) I go to eat places with food for vegetarians.

For that situation I found places with vegetarian food, like the “arte vegetal”, this place is localized in a street in the back of the Torre Entel, in the station La moneda in the Santiago subway; they to sell, with a very good price, vegetarian food in many different forms: empanadas, sandwichs, pizzas, and others. As well I have a lot of specials places to eat Papas fritas, with my girlfriend we enjoy so much of the Carritos, these places are typical of the popular neighborhoods, and when I live we have a lot (the Carrito of San Pablo with Neptuno have a delicious mayonnaise).

But my favourite place to go to eat is the “Bravissimo”, this place has food for breakfast, for the lunch, but they are specialist in the Ice-cream. I go a lot to this place, and enjoy so much buy an ice-cream of “chocolate con nueces” and “Pie de Limon”, with cream, and good company is a really good moment.

A Birthday

One of the birthday's I remember most was my 20^th birthday (my last birthday). I remember it because that day I stay with all my loved people, my family and my friends. The good of my birthday date is the year period: January, and more than just the month is the day, the 5^th: no one have gone to this holydays yet: For that reason almost every one of the people who want to go to see me can do so. The difference of my last birthday with the others was that in the last birthday I don’t make a party (every the years I to organize a party), and in the day I just stay with the most important people in my life. I don’t make a party because in the university we still stay in classes, and everyone wants to go to parties when you have stress. And, another important thing is the final year party of the December 31th, after that party every one want more, and my house don’t resist so much people.

In that day I stay with my parents, cousins, my sister, my grandmothers, my uncle, even with a couple of neighbors, we enjoy with delicious food and a good conversation. In the night I go to a drinks with my betters friends, this friends are my school friends and we knows from a lot of years ago, after the drinks one friend of the faculty call me and say me: I to organize a party for your birthday, that was a surprise and I go to my party, was a good moment.

I remember all my birthdays with happiness, are good days with the loved people and I enjoy that.

My favourites Books

One of the nicest things I love to do is read, is very important for my have a book in my bag for the lecture; in my travels in bus or in the subway, before sleep, or in any moment I want to do it. When I have eleven years I start whit this habit, I started with fantasy literature; the first was Harry Potter (Harry Potter and the philosopher stone), and from that I wait anxiously the second part (Harry Potter and the chambers of secrets), until the seventh, that was the last of the saga and was the end of my childhood (Harry Potter and the deathly hallows). But I don’t read just Harry Potters, I read fantasy sagas like Eragon, the Narnia’s, his dark materials, twilight, the vampire diaries, The Name of the Wind. The Kingkiller Chronicle: In these books I read about vampires, dragons, magic and things that don’t exist. The last saga I read was an excellent saga: A song of ice and fire, well-know like Game of Thrones, but my favourite fantasy saga ever was The lord of the rings, because is the first of the style and the history is amazing.

But read just one type of books is boring, for that reason I have read literature of different styles: the literature of Latino America is amazing, books like love in the time of cholera, or one hundred years of solitude, writed by Gabriel Garcia Marquez,  or the truce by Mario Benedetti, hopscotch by Julio Cortázar, Tunnel by Ernesto Sábato, and so many more in the list. Spain Literature like The Fog by Unamuno,  and one of the most important books in the history: The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha.

I was read books  about topics more philosophical,  for example I have read to Kafka, Nietzsche, Platón, Heidegger, and others. And for my own I read a lot of books of politic, writers like Marx, Lenin, Trosky, Ernesto Guevara, Rosa Luxemburgo, Gramsci and others. I read a lot of poetry too, like Pablo Neruda, Mario Benedetti, Alejandra Pizarnik, Pablo de Rokha, Nicanor Parra and my favourite: Vicente Huidobro.  

An outdoor Activity

My favourite outdoor activity is going to the mountain, I really enjoy go close to nature; especially go to the Andes range, with native vegetation of our country and animals too. It´s also nice go to get some clean air so far away from the Santiago City (and all the smog we have). The first time I went to the mountain was in the university, with a teacher and a group of classmates, we were doing a class of mountain climbing very appropriate for the geography career (I study this). After that I have visited a few mountains in the Andes range, like the Pochoco, Provincia, Cañi, Osorno Volcano, Meñique, and others. Sometimes I go for the just one day; I wake up early and to go down before the night. The other times I go for more days, and I have to prepare the travel, in this case I have to take a tent, sleeping bag, camp stove, more food, more clothes, a flashlight, and go with good company is important too. The mountain I liked more was the Cañi, this mountain is located in the ninth region, near of Pucón, in a town called Pichare. I went with a friend, just with our things, three water liters and two noodle packets, we walk five hours with our bags, was a very difficult ascent, but the mountain was amazing, have Araucaria protect wood, with a lot of others threes, beautifuls birds and nine lakes in the rout. Go to the mountain is a nice activity.

Janis was an incredible artist, one of the most important blues-influenced rock singers of her time. She born in 1943 and die in 1970, she has an intense and emotional voice has become one of the most famous in American popular music. She die because fell in drugs, she has only twentyseven years.

A beach.

In March I have the possibility of to go to Brazil with my parents and my sister, was a very beautiful experience with my family because was the second time in my life when we go to holidays together, and for can go this year my father save money  for two years and we go to Rio de Janeiro. In this city the coastline is really expensive, a lot of kilometers of sand and beaches, with hot water of Atlantic Ocean very different to the Pacific Ocean of the Chilean coastline (because this is really cold). In our holydays in Rio we go to three places: Rio, Buzios and Angra do Rais, in Rio we go to many places and many beaches, the most popular was Copacabana and Ipanema, beaches so touristic and beautiful, but we go to the people beaches too, in the Flamengo district for example, because we think is important go to the places of the people of the place, go to only the touristic is a mistake, in fact we go to the favelas and the historic center for to know better the city. When we go to buzios the only thing to know are the beaches, is a place only for tourism and the landscape is amazing, have a blue sky, palmers, yellow sand and beautiful people. But the nicest beach and my favorite was in Angra Do Rais, for a simple reason: Are virgin beaches, the tourists can´t make any change in the beach and the nature is really beautiful, I don’t remember the name of the beach, but is a wonderful place, Angra Do Rais have 365 Islands, the water is hot, the islands are green, with beatifuls birds, we jump from the travelship and swing with fishes, and the clima is really nice. Was a nice experience, a nice beach.

My comment is about Nicole´s Blog, the title of his blog is “Sunflower”, a very nice and charming title (this flower is really beautiful).

 The principal characteristic of the blog is the design, with flowers, everything is pink, and the thematic of the post always is Sweet and feminine (except in the posts about the internet) , for example the infantile movie Tarzán and the romantic (one of the most romantic in the story) movie Titanic, pictures with the family and  boyfriend and a nice video of a really sweet little boy.

 The use of the videos and pictures is appropriate with the thematic of the posts and the comments in the Nicole´s blog always are from three classmates: Tamara, Jean and Paulina.

Be sweet is not a bad thing, and I love Titanic too, jeje.

I think my favourite website is Cuevana, is a very nice website because you can see movies without money, and has a lot of films to see, the page has series chapters too. In this page I saw movies like the goodfather, inside job, the concert, the matrix and the notebook, and I saw completes series like Spartacus, game of thrones, falling skies, sons of anarchy, the walking dead and  misfits. I normally use the page in Sundays, or when the site upload a serie chapter who I expected for it (or a movie). The site lastly doesn´t work nice, has a lot of problems for his use, the reason of that is very simple, the FBI. This institution are fighting the pirats in the web, this pirats make copies of the films and use it for make money, in fact, the megaupload creator stay in jails for this reason. But, this persecution doesn’t have any sense, for a simple reason: this type of site are for Share music, and this is not piratery.   I hope the site doesn’t fall, because a lot of people of our continent (Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Chile) use Cuevana for see a lot of series and films without money.I knew this site because a friend sent the link for me (http://www.cuevana.tv/#!/inicio) with a movie i want to see in this moment (i remember the film was Che la guerilla with Benicio del Toro) and from this day i use de site every weeks and i enjoy it so much.

THE INTERNET.

THE INTERNET: AN INFORMATION WEAPON.

I guess I’m an internet Fan, every day I surfing in the red two or three hours (in the night). I use different tools of the internet, for example: BlogSpot, Gmail, Hotmail, YouTube, Cuevana, Twitter, but the site I more use is the Facebook. Why the Facebook? Because is the more complete tool for make a lot of things: To have conversations with the people, organization groups, and for upload important things. This is an important difference with a lot of people, because they use Facebook for put things like “go to a party” or “i´m sad, help me”, but the Facebook is a SOCIAL media; is a weapon, an information weapon, for important things. The Television doesn’t show a lot of important news, but the internet is a tool for show these things, for example: The Police abuse in Temuco with the local people, or the Pascualama Project, or information about the politics, or about Aysén, among others. For this reason I use the social media, for transmit information, and of course, my opinion about that news. Although sometimes I use the internet for not important things, like when I upload sport videos, music videos, and the freakiest things I occasionally found in the web.

A VIDEOCLIP: Welcome to the machine, Pink Floyd.

This video isn`t famous (not like THE WALL, for example), but IS really interesting. Pink Floyd is a English Rock Band, one of my favorites bands. They have the particularity that their work is marked by the use of philosophical lyrics, with messages of life sense, and protest lyrics.

In this song, they spoke about the life of a guy who wants to find his own future, but the society machine doesn’t permit that, so he buys a guitar, but he is a slave of the school, a marionette, he has dreams, but this doesn’t matter, because everything (the society and his parents) have dreams imposed for him, he wants a guitar, but that doesn’t matter, he has been in the pipeline, filling in the time.

The video is animated: in the video appears the machine, a rat, the screams, the death, a skull, the desert, the blood ocean, the lost dreams of the life of a boy.

I saw this video when I was fifteen years old , and I never forgot the sensation I had in that moment, so confused, but concentrate whit that. Is a really nice band, one of the rock bands most important in the history, and yes, Pink Floyd knows how to make a good videoclip

LAST WEEK, FREE TOPIC.

I want to speak about one important topic for me: THE FIGHT FOR THE HUMAN BASIC RIGHTS, particularly the Chilean people (we lost them).

The 2011 was special for our country; the Chileans woke up (finally), and went out to the streets to fight, for the future, for our children, for ourselves; no more abuses, no more individualism, no more debts, no more injustices, no more violence. We need justice, solidarity, we need freedom, we need another system, a just system, a system based jn love.

For that reason we need organization, a big social movement this year, everyone’s fighting for the recuperation of the education, the public health, the natural recourses, the dignity of our pensioners. In Conclusion, we need fight for our rights.

AN EVENT: The Embraces Part

The event is organized by the communist party of Chile, and to bring together all the socials organizations who want a change for our country: syndicates, some left-wing political parties, a lot of revolutionary organizations, or just people with interest, in all the cases, the purpose is to defeat this neoliberal system, and the government of the right parties.

The principal idea is to make a party of two days, were the Chilean people (even of other countries) to gather together, in the event there will be art of every styles, musicians, discussions, forums, locations of revolutionary products (pictures of Che Guevara, for example), craftwork, and others.

The objective is to join all the people who want a different country, and end up definitely with the Pinochet dictatorship system; change the constitution and to advance to another political system, make for the great majority and not for a little group of people with a lot of money.

The event was made in the Parque Ohiggins, the January 7^th and 8^th, and leaders like Camila Vallejo, Camilo Ballesteros, Cristián Cuevas and Guillermo Tellier spoke in the principal scenario. And musical bands like Villa Cariño, La Sonora Tommy Rey and Intillimani played in that.

I don’t celebrate so much, because I work in the organization of the party (I am Juventudes Comunistas de Chile‘s activist), but anyway, were two excellent days and I really enjoyed the experience. 

 

Chinese Calendar

I was born on January 5th, in 1992 (I born in democracy), and my horoscope says: I am a goat, occupying the 8th position in the Chinese zodiac, the goat symbolize such character, and is a sign of creative, intelligence, dependability and calmness.

My zodiac says a lot of things about me, but, it says something about being alone, says I am more comfortable in loneliness; that is a lie, I love group work. My zodiac says a lot of things that have nothing in relation with my personality. For example, it says something about “they are quiet and reserved” really? I am a crazy man, and being reserve is not my style, jeje. Apart of this, it says “in the work they´ll never volunteer” Really? I always do it! Being a leader and having opinion is so important for me. 

I really don’t believe so much in this kind of things, because, I know people of my same zodiac symbol, and we don’t have anything in common, with characters completely different. For this reason I don’t use to read my horoscope (ever). Sometimes I Just read the horoscope of the newspaper “la hora”, but I prefer make the puzzle.

Childhood Christmas

§  I don’t remember a special Christmas, always was the same, beautiful and delicious dinner with my family (good music and special conversation). But, despite my family is believer (is not a meeting for buy gifts, is just share in family and be together as well).
When i was a child, i didn´t understand those costumes, and my parents given to me a present anyway.
A lot of time was the same gift: a football ball, but when i had five years old my dad bought a German shepherd dog for my family, his name was Rex.
I remember that Christmas for one big reason: My Dog, Rex was a real friend, but he died two years ago, that was too sad for me, i loved so much, and i miss him.
That Christmas was in December 24th, 1997 and I´ll never forget it, because Rex was, is and will be a great friend.
The second Christmas that i could remember was in 2002, i receive a bicycle from my parents, but unfortunately I broke it just one week later; playing like jackass television program (my dad didn´t buy a bike for me anymore). (in the picture, Rex)

An important day for me.

When I was fifteen years, I traveled for the first time to Bolivia and Perú with my grandfather, Victor, the journey was beautiful and full of magic.

One day was very special, my grandfather got sick and I was forced to go Machupichu by my one, and for a fifteen it was a complete challenge, I felt alone, scared and fully surprised by the beauty and magic of the ruins. Even though the fear I felt, I climbed the Huayna-pichu mountain, a very difficult path but I make it through the top.

I saw in the mountains, in the people, all the possibilities, all the visions, a lot of people of many different countries. It was incredible the magic that I felt. That day I decided that I have to change, the world is bigger than I imagine, since that day on I realized that the world was fascinating and I must travel it, the whole world as it is possible.

This day was very special and I remember it with a lot of nostalgic and anxious for succeed in my challenge, to visit the most possible countries in my life and revive the felling.

My Christmas Night.

In the night of december 24th, I was dinner with my family, the sense of the Christmas for us is not buy presents, we just stay together and we share. We ate lasagna with out meet, because im vegetarian and I don’t eat animals.

The night was so nice because we laught a lot, and talked until very late. For us the night is just share, for that reason we don’t recibe presents. At the dinner were present my parents, mi sister, my grandmother and my pet (here name is Dominga and she is a Pastor Alemán of two years old).

Was a very nice family dinner, me usually did that, but in this case we ate more delicious food. When the dinner finished, I go to sleep but before that I saw a movie.

In the December 25^th, I stay all the day in my house and I was stay in the swinning pool, because the day was very hot. After that I studied for a test that I have the day December 27^th.

The best memory that I have of Christmas night was all the Cola de Mono I drink, this drink is so delicious.
